Wouldn't you know it, I am in my eighties and came along before the computer revolution. To let you know how difficult it is for me to deal with technology, you should know that I never learned to program my VCR. So using a computer was the farthermost thing from my mind when my children insisted that I should have one. It has provided some interesting experiences and hours of entertainment as well as hours of frustration.
At the computer I have spent hours and hours researching the family genealogy and and many more hours working on family history. From time to time I get a poem in my head that won't go away unless I pound it out on the key board, then I can forget it. Anyway, I am pretty content with my thoughts and thought I would share some of them with my kids, my grandchildren and great grandchildren.
I'm in the middle!
Don't get me wrong, I am not an expert on the computer. I write it down, e-mail it to my son and he posts it on the blog!
I have discovered that there are lots of ways to accomplish your objectives and lack of technological expertise is just not going to stand in my way.
Now I understand that you can post comments on this blog, and if so, I would love for you to share your thoughts too. If you need help, I can have you contact my son. It works for me!
Love,
Gigi
